Episode 1: Blood Oranges

In this episode, I look at how to use blood oranges to spice up the classic chocolate cupcake. It took some thinking, but I settled on filling the cupcakes with a blood orange curd. I'm fairly new to filling cupcakes, so I ended up using a recipe that was too dense for easy filling, but they still tasted great.

I would normally add recipes here, but I would advise finding your own cupcake and frosting recipes, since mine weren't great. For a blood orange curd, take any lemon or orange curd recipe and replace the zest and juice with blood orange zest and juice.
